Kicking off our fall programming, Untitled Art’s collaboration with Soho Beach House Miami’s Art Club continues. This podcast revolves around young collectors and collection building, featuring Miami-based patrons and collectors Jack Benmeleh and Daphna Bentata, as well as art advisor and historian Valentina Tintori. Moderated by Salomé Gómez-Upegi, the panel delves into the 'joy' collecting brings and the symbiotic relationship cultivated between local artists and collectors to come together to support the art ecosystem.
"It's really taking care of what the artist is doing, and how much it inspires you - that is where the investment is." says Daphna Bentata.
"Every time there's an opening, go to the gallery. Go to the gallery director. Find out about the artist. The artist is going to always be there at the opening - meet them, talk to them. They have studios here. Send them a DM, make an introduction, go to their studios, start learning about them." remarked Jack Benmeleh on engaging with the local artist community as part of the process of one's collection building.
