Miami Beach, FL. February 16, 2023 – Today, South Florida Ventures proudly announces an exciting addition to its rapidly expanding portfolio of luxury lifestyle brands with Untitled Art, the leading independent art fair that takes place annually on the sands of Miami Beach each December.
Founded in 2012 by Jeffrey Lawson, Untitled Art has swiftly risen to prominence during Miami Art Week, showcasing emerging and established artists by selected contemporary art galleries and non-profits from around the world celebrated for their cutting-edge programming and curatorial integrity.
The South Florida Ventures portfolio, led by Ken McAvoy, has witnessed substantial growth over the last few years, adding fast-growing shows to its luxury lifestyle sector in the region. Untitled Art’s integration into the South Florida Ventures family offers the fair greater resources and the ability to scale the platform, test new markets, and expand its curatorial team while retaining autonomy and the fair’s unique identity shaped by the vision of Lawson and his team.
Following the successful presentation of Untitled Art’s 12th edition – its largest, most international, and diverse presentation to date, which ran from December 5 to 10, 2023 – the partnership with South Florida Ventures will allow the fair to extend its ambitions and provide exciting opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike through enhanced programming, partnerships, year-round events, and expansion into new key cities and markets in the US and abroad.Untitled Art’s 2024 edition, which will run from December 4 to 8, 2024 with a VIP and Press Preview on December 3, will see the expansion of the fair’s ‘Nest’ sector, continuing its mission to foster the growth of emerging and non-profit spaces, as well as the expansion of prizes and strategic partnerships to nurture opportunities for exhibiting artists and galleries beyond curatorial presentations. A new team of guest curators will also join the 2024 edition to guide the exhibitor selection process to ensure the most compelling and dynamic presentations, representing some of the world’s top artists and galleries. Applications for Untitled Art’s 2024 edition will open in March.
