Houston, TX — June 18, 2026 — Ahead of the second edition of Untitled Art, Houston, we are pleased to announce our 2026 Institutional and Cultural Partners, a distinguished group of 30 organizations that reflect the depth and diversity of Houston’s arts ecosystem.

Since its inception, Untitled Art, Houston has been built through close collaboration with the city’s museums, nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, collectors, artists, and cultural leaders. These partnerships remain central to the fair’s mission, creating meaningful opportunities for exhibitors while strengthening Houston’s position as one of the most dynamic centers for contemporary art in the United States.

Throughout October, our Partners will offer visitors unique opportunities to engage with the city through exhibitions, collection visits, VIP experiences, public programs, and special events taking place across Houston. A full schedule of fair week programming will be announced later this season and developed in collaboration with our Partners throughout the city.

“The continued growth of Untitled Art, Houston is directly tied to the strength of our relationships with local cultural and institutional partners,” says Michael Slenske, Director of Untitled Art, Houston. “Long before the inaugural edition opened its doors, Houston’s museums, nonprofits, and cultural leaders embraced the fair as part of the city’s broader creative landscape. That support has been instrumental to our success. As we head into our second edition, we're focused on creating meaningful opportunities for exhibitors while deepening the collaborations that make Houston one of the most exciting cultural destinations in the country.”

The impact of these relationships extends well beyond fair week. During the inaugural edition, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston acquired works from multiple participating galleries, while Mari Carmen Ramírez, Wortham Curator of Latin American Art, joined the fair's programming for a conversation examining Houston’s longstanding cultural exchange with Latin America.

The Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH), a 2025 Prize Partner, recently presented a major exhibition by Mario Ayala, who also collaborated with Untitled Art on the fair’s second submission to the annual Houston Art Car Parade supported by Programming Partner Orange Show Center for Visionary Art. CAMH is currently presenting How to Talk Dirty and Influence People, a major survey of work by Founding Host Committee member Mary Ellen Carroll.

Elsewhere across the city, the Moody Center for the Arts has recently mounted exhibitions featuring artists who participated in the inaugural edition of the fair, including Masako Miki, Earlie Hudnall, Jr., and Delita Martin. The Menil Collection similarly reflects the interconnected nature of Houston’s cultural community, having recently presented an exhibition by Founding Host Committee member Francesca Fuchs. Art League Houston will honor Jamal Cyrus—who participated in the inaugural edition with Inman Gallery—as its 2026 Texas Artist of the Year, underscoring the continued recognition of artists connected to the fair and its exhibitors.

Together with longstanding partners including Project Row Houses, Rothko Chapel, Lawndale Art Center, Asia Society Texas, and the University of Houston School of Art, which all participated in our Cultural Partners section, demonstrate how Untitled Art, Houston serves as a platform connecting galleries, artists, institutions, and audiences throughout the region. Many of our Institutional Partners held tours for VIP guests, including the Blaffer Art Museum and the Houston Museum of African American Culture, which built on its involvement with Untitled Art by presenting a Special Project with Houston artist El Franco Lee II during the inaugural edition.

Beyond the museum and academic community, Untitled Art, Houston continues to work closely with an expanding roster of Cultural Partners that help activate the city throughout the year. Buffalo Bayou Partnership returns following its collaboration on Lita Albuquerque’s The Sea is Within Me, produced by Founding Host Committee member Karen Farber and Michael Slenske, which transformed the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern into a site for immersive artistic engagement.

Organizations including DiverseWorks, Artadia, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, Houston Center for Photography, Houston Botanic Garden, Houston Freedmen’s Town Conservancy, The Ismaili Center – Houston, and Sawyer Yards continue to expand opportunities for artists and audiences across the city.

New partnerships with Anderson Center for the Arts, Aurora Picture Show, Discovery Green, FotoFest, and Houston Grand Opera, further broaden the fair’s reach across disciplines and communities, reinforcing Untitled Art, Houston’s commitment to fostering collaboration across Houston’s cultural landscape while supporting the city’s continued growth as a destination for contemporary art.
